6 Step - Property Inspection Process

1. Inspection request received by 311.CodeEnforce@dekalbcountyga.gov, DAR(Hansen), Workforce 

2. Drive to site of potential violation

3. Does a violation exist?

4. Violation exist a) snapshot address, b) snap shot violation(s), 

5. Upload inspection snapshots, and documentation via the Survey application.

6. No violation - pass/close documented as no case by administrative staff

7. Submit all/ final paper work to administrative staff

Inspection request received by 311.Code Enforce, DAR, Workforce ,Hansen

2. *Accept photo of violation from citizen via email/mobile 

3. Does a violation exists?

4. Violation exist a) snapshot address, b) snap shot all violation(s),

5. Upload inspection snapshots, and documentation via the Survey application.

6. No violation - Upload snapshots documented as no case/pass close by administrative staff

7. Submit all/ final paper work to administrative staff

1. Normal Inspection

step 1 A (service request number# -admin) accommodates the assigned inspecting officer 

step 2. Officer inspects property for all /any property violations

step 3. Officer confirms if a property violation exists?

step 3a. Yes a violation exists

step 4. Officer submits inspection results to admin

step 5. Admin documents inspection results in the Hansen application

step 6 A case is opened and case number# is generated by the Hansen application) 

Note:  The follow up (to compliance) inspection(s) will generate inspection numbers# per officer visit

step 7. Identify the violation by written description

step 8. Identify the violation by code section i.e. 18-9.B

step 9. Assess level of severity of property violation

step 9a. Warning notice, b) final notice of violation, c) extension, d) court summons (citation)

step10. If a violation does not exist -

step 10a. Submit results to Admin

step 11. No case/pass close is displayed in the Hansen application
